Like many drivers in the off-road space, Conner Martell began his career on two wheels before transitioning to four.

After debuting part-way through the 2015 GRC Lites season, Martell continued to serve his motorsport apprenticeship in the development classes, culminating in a championship title in 2018, with four podiums from five rounds that year, including three consecutive wins at the start of the season. He also raced on the world stage that year, claiming a top-10 finish in RX2, with a podium finish at the iconic Silverstone in the UK.

Martell was one of Group E’s founding fathers, competing alongside Travis Pastrana at Vermont SportsCar for the first two seasons. In that time, he’s got two podium finishes – including a second behind Pastrana in a VSC one-two in Phoenix in 2022-23 – and a top qualifier result in Utah last season where he defeated Andreas Bakkerud and Oliver Erikkson after a stunning over/under pass on both in the first corner of the TQ race.
