A lifelong car enthusiast, Donny began restoring classic VW Beetles and eventually transitioned into racing Class 11 Baja Buggies. His entry into the racing world started when he bought a wrecked Baja Bug from a friend, repaired it, and hit the track. Outside of racing, he enjoys spending time on the water with his kids and family.

This year in NitroCross, his primary goal is to put on a great show and secure some wins. Known for leading more laps than any other driver without a victory, he is determined to break that streak.

Self-made from humble beginnings, he opened his first skateboard shop at the age of 20 with just $5000. Today, he owns 12 skateboard shops and 3 Slow Ride Workwear stores. Above all, he strives to be a positive influence on his children, those around him, and the many people who look up to him.
